Frequently Asked Questions

  • I recommend weekly sessions to begin, so that we can get to know one another best. After some time—typically around 6–8 weeks—some people taper down to every other week, and some even to once a month.

I work to adjust the frequency to meet the needs of my clients.

  • Therapy can look different for everyone, and healing isn’t always linear. Some clients are committed to their self growth for a span of a couple of months, others are fortunate enough to pour into themselves for years.

    All are welcome and encouraged.

  • I’m currently in network with: Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross, Carelon, Cigna, Quest, United HealthCare.

For all other insurers, I’m considered “out-of-network.” In the event that this applies to you, I’m able to provide you with a superbill.

  • It means that I’m not listed in your insurance company’s preferred network. You can still use your insurance, but you’ll pay the full session fee at the time of your appointment. Following our sessions, I’ll provide you with a superbill.

You send the superbill to your insurance company, and depending on your plan, you may be eligible to receive partial reimbursement directly from them.

  • Once we’re able to get you scheduled, I’ll send over paperwork for you to complete. Once it’s received, you’ll receive the office address and parking information or a link for our virtual session.
